For a long time I have been exploring the possibilities of a movable seat.
My first design from around 1972 was a sawn-off tree trunk, to the sides of which I attached two broomsticks with bent nails, between which I stretched a line to serve as a backrest.
If you sat down, you could roll forwards and backwards on the radius of the tree disc.
However, if you leant against the backrest, you inevitably fell over backwards and looked up at the sky in surprise. Pardauz …

Seit langer Zeit habe ich mich mit den Möglichkeiten eines beweglichen Sitzens beschäftigt.Mein erster Entwurf von ca. 1972 war ein abgesägter Baumstamm, an dessen Seiten ich mit krummgeschlagenen Nägeln zwei Besenstiele befestigt habe, zwischen denen ich eine Leine spannte, die als Rückenlehne dienen sollte.Setzte man sich nieder – konnte man auf dem Radius der Baumscheibe vor und zurück rollen.Lehnte man sich allerdings an die Rückenlehne an, fiel man unweigerlich hintenüber und blickte etwas überrascht in den Himmel.
